Mr Prasanna Supramaniam is a Consultant Gynaecologist, Subspecialist in reproductive medicine and surgery, and Advanced Laparoscopic Gynaecological Surgeon. He has remained dedicated to delivering top-tier, safe, and timely care to women and their families, bolstered by rigorous clinical training and evidence-based medicine.
His expertise spans complex surgical procedures, including stage 4 endometriosis surgeries, total laparoscopic hysterectomy, and open major gynaecological surgery. He has pursued additional training in complex endometriosis surgery, further developing my skills at the Endometriosis CaRe Centre, Oxford, and completing specialized fellowships.
His passion for clinical academia has led to accolades, including multiple nominations for the British Fertility Young Clinician Award, numerous publications including book chapters, and the publication of the Endometriosis Guideline for ESHRE. He has also actively contributed to departmental development, spearheading electronic transformation initiatives and securing grants for essential equipment.
Formally accredited as a trainer, he prioritises teaching and training, completing the Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Education.
