Professor Cool (Keele University, UK) was appointed as an orthopaedic surgeon at the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital (UK) in 2000. Since then, he developed his interest in surgical diagnostics and treatment of bone tumours. Professor Cool is past president of the British Orthopaedic Oncology Society. His other interests include statistics, basic science, computer vision and machine learning.
