Biography: Anusha Bala

Anusha Balasubramanian, an otorhinolaryngologist, graduated in the Dean’s List in her MBBS, followed with double gold medals in her ENT postgraduate exams, subsequently went on to complete her MRCS, FRCS and fellowship in Head and Neck Surgery and Oncology with Honours under the IFHNOS programme. Having completed advanced fellowship attachments at AIMS Kerala India, The Royal Marsden Hospital London and MSKCC New York, she has gained wide and in-depth experience in Head and Neck Oncologic surgery including microvascular reconstruction and robotic surgery.

Active in writing, she has authored in numerous peer-reviewed indexed journals, book chapters and served as an Editor of a publishing house. An avid teacher, she actively trains and lectures medical students, doctors, nurses, physician associates and pharmacists. Anusha is also a regular invited faculty on FRCS examination training courses.

Her non academic interests include cooking and catering, dancing, singing which includes past on-stage performances and  music mixing / DJ in her spare time.
