Mr Abdul Rahman Hakeem is a Consultant Adult and Paediatric Liver Transplant Surgeon, and the Education Lead for Liver Transplant Surgery at King’s College Hospital, London & a Honorary Senior Lecturer at King’s College London. He is the chair of UK Liver Transplant Collaborative and the Vice-chair of International Liver Transplant Society (ILTS) Vanguard Committee. As an academic he has over 125 publications and numerous grants including NIHR and LTHT charity grant. He is keenly interested in the following research topics: liver reengineering, transplant oncology, machine perfusion, portal flow modulation in living donor liver transplantation and outcomes of paediatric liver transplantation.
